time, mind, recorded (2025)
frixion pens on A2 paper (59.4x42 cm)
drawing lines slowly on paper, as a meditative act where each moment feels it’s being recorded, like writing brain waves. The hand follows the line it just made, as closely as possible, responding to it and to the space in between.
There is one rule: the lines must never touch. Sometimes they come very close, almost longing to meet - and so tension is created, shaping the hand’s movement and the act of drawing itself. As more lines and spaces are added, another dimension gradually emerges: a texture, like sound, unfolds within the intimate space where this repetitive process has taken place.
