from L to R (2017-19)

meditative drawings that have become ‘recording’ actions, are made with brush pens that draw thick lines, which  'follow' eachother but also slightly overlap, resulting to finer, darker ones. As the hand moves, shakes, stops or changes speed, everything is 'recorded': sublte changes in texture, direction and light, the act of drawing. There is minimal planning, usually based on simple geometry and proportions such as golden section, and there is sometimes incorporation of 'opennings' such as a single line or a 'window' between the thick lines.
