food for dreams (2024-25)

moments, when recorded through different types of movement, may carry a deeper meaning — especially when there is awareness that each instant becomes, without delay, part of the past, a memory. When movement is slowed down, everything becomes magnified: details that may have escaped conscious perception yet were imprinted in memory begin to emerge. A kind of ‘zooming’ of time occurs — intimacy and intricacy are intensified. The viewer is drawn into a new, silent, almost abstract experience, something that feels subconsciously familiar, leaning more towards dreams than reality.

'food for dreams' was first exhibited in the  ‘Lalangue or Poetics of Existence’ group exhibition (curator: Yiannis Mitrou), that was part of Back to Athens 12, 25-29 June 2025.
